The world is changing

Dear All

Please feel free to pass this e mail on and around. I have worked in MBA education for 12 years recruiting for 2 private business schools in the Netherlands before I have joined Laureate Education that provide accredited on line degrees. It really upsets me to see how some schools operate and easily miss lead candidates by promises they cannot deliver and by asking for GMAT scores so high that it is mainly for their ranking purposes than anything else, I can tell you that many schools do struggle to get good prospective students into their programs who can actually afford the study. Do not be surprised if your class as many candidates from Asia in it, not that anything is wrong with asian candidates but an MBA is just as much about diversity in a class. I do not believe in the hard sell as I have heard so many stories and dissapointments over the years. I myself was a big skeptic of on line education thinking that the quality and lack of face to face was a big influence in choosing a school, how wrong I was. I now travel the world delivering free information sessions and career workshops in which I show by power point presentation how the virtual classroom and on line studies work with all the advantages compared to a traditional campus based school.

Now prospective candidates do not need to quit their job, nor do they have to pay all the fees up front, Laureate offer payment by module or monthly installments and with the price of an MBA being less than the average price in Europe then it is for sure something to be looked at. The degree is 100% fully accredited and taken with the University of Liverpool who are part of the Russell group, please take time to check out the russell group and what they do. Also the end degree is identical than as if you was sat in the class at Liverpool University. For any information or advice or even company or private information sessions then do get back in touch with me. Dont run before you can walk, choosing an MBA is a massive big investment and make sure you have all the advice before deciding on where to go.

If you fancy an American accredited degree, then take a look at our other school, Walden University one more school out the 50 that Laureate own.

Hi,

Couldn't help noticing a conversation on the "One Planet MBA" at the University of Exeter.

This is truly a very unique MBA program and is surely going to grab attention after its first batch starts in October 2011.

?One Planet? means a very specific kind of education. It refers to the fact that business planning of the future must recognise that we only have one planet?s worth of resources, yet we are currently collectively using over one and a third planets, a figure which increases daily.
