Executive Master in International Business from ESCP Europe

LYES87
Came across this program while researching for an affordable 100% online master degree from a top-ranked or reputable school. The price is quite attractive and the ESCP name is well regarded. I'm trying figure out whether this program will help me down the road when I decide to look for work in either Europe, North of Africa or Asia. Currently I work in Canada for a German-Swiss MNC. My other option is an MBA from QM University of London. Is it really a big deal whether it's an MBA or an Executive Master in recruiters' eyes? Will an MBA from QM UoL outshine an an Executive Master from ESCP when taking in account my objectives? And since I want to work only for MNCs, maybe a master in international business would provide me with more leverage?

Any feedback is appreciated.

It is not an MBA. It does not come with AMBA accreditation, unlike the MBA from ESCP. I would pick QMUL or the Illinois Coursera iMBA instead.

Do you have specific goals? In terms of where you want to work, and what industry you want to work in?

I'm currently working as a eCommerce Manager and my goal is to run an eCommerce department as a Director or VP working mainly on the strategic side (not technological).
I have no preference for an industry but I would say it would be mostly around manufacturing, distribution and retail. In order of preference, I'm looking to work in either Europe, Asia, Middle East or North of Africa. The MBA from QMUL is almost double the price of the executive master from ESCP, I'm wondering if the ROI would be way superior compared to an executive master from ESCP to justify the price tag.

Both are inexpensive. ESCP is not well known outside Francophone.

If your focus is outside Francophone countries, then London is probably a better brand. But would, for example, the LSE graduate diploma give you a much bigger brand for a lower cost?

That is a good suggestion, I’ll probably do the LSE digital innovation program in addition to my MBA. I can get 8-9K GBP from my employer to finance my MBA. I’m willing to spend max 13K GBP and the London one was the best I could find for the price. Is there anything else I’m this price range that I could have missed? Could Leicester be a better value vs London?

Personally, I would think about the value of the Alumni networks. If you just need a strong academic foundation then the graduate pathway to the UoL BSc in management from the LSE gives you more or less the same content as the UoL MBA from QM, at a fraction of the cost. I would also look at Bradford if a real alumni network mattered, something that Leicester lacks.
