Dear All.

I would like to know your expert opinion.

I am interested in 1 year online MSc or MBA in Supply Chain or Logistics, So far I have following options. My Budget is under $10k

University of Salford - UK
Cost around 12000$

Australian Institute of Business - Australia
Cost around 9000$

William Loveland College USA (Accredited by DAEC)
COST around 4000-5000$

My basic degree is Doctor of Pharmacy from Pakistan and I have 5 years of supply chain experience currently I am in Africa working with UN. I have plan to move NY in June 2016. My goal is to get degree that will help me to get job relevant to my experience.

I have already completed advance diploma in logistics and transport from CILT-UK.

What is the worth of degree from DAEC accredited Institute?
Doest it effect if Institute is in IAU-WHED ?
What if I go for William Loveland MBA and combine it with CSCP from APICS?

Regards

DAEC is not highly valued, but at least it means it meets a minimum level of quality. It will give you functional vocabulary, but not really the skills to be able to do the job, which is what a top tier MBA would give you. The fact that it is a US qualification helps if you are targeting the US market. CSCP is a good qualification. I just wonder what the MBA would add to your knowledge if you already have work experience.

I'm not aware of a cheaper CHEA-accredited MBA. Of course there are other masters degrees which are low cost, but none with accredited MBAs http://www.mastersportal.eu/search/?q=kw-masters|lv-master|mh-online|tx-3400|tt-noneea|tu-year&order=relevance

What a I would suggest, if you want to work in the US, is that you consider a school with at least regional accreditation rather than just national accrediation. AACSB, of course, is ideal.

AACSB is out of my range. What if I go for MSc in Supply Chain ..Does it require AACSB as well?

By NY do you mean New York? In the US I think a terrible MBA is better than an average.

Some AASCB MBAs are more or less cheap as Salford, as you know.

No, I don't think you'll find that. You can pick any two from fast, cheap or good.

UND is $13k, and that is amazingly low: regional accreditation and AACSB accreditation for less than places which have neither, like California National.

No, neither EQUIS nor AMBA have accredited the MSc in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the University of Salford. AMBA has accredited their on-campus MBA only. No programme there has EQUIS accreditation.

Which is the US school?

My comment was based on following response from Uni. Salford.

Salford Business School has 3,000+ students and over 90 academic staff. It holds A M B A and EFMD's EPAS accreditation and is now pursuing AACSB accreditation.

That is quite a misleading response. AMBA and EFMD do not accredit schools; they accredit specific programmes. EPAS is not EQUIS, and that MSc has neither EPAS nor AMBA accreditation. I assume your email is from RKC, not Salford. Either way, they are shamefully misleading you.

Georgia College is a great school. I can't believe that their tuition is so low for their online programs. I think that is much better.

Amazing... so online courses get the in-state fee level. That is astonishing.
