Copenhagen Business School Considering a DL Program

I just saw that Copenhagen Business School is launching a new media platform, which, according to a school rep:

allows us to quickly and cost-effectively integrate rich-media into our CMS systems, create our own custom metadata fields, manage our content and easily publish it on any site. We are also using the application as our own 'private YouTube' where faculty can upload videos, view content, and get involved."

This is an interesting development. I suppose that in the short term, they could use this new video system to broadcast lectures to dorms and other places, or to start a real video collaboration platform. But more intriguing is the long-term potential of this system: Is CBS planning to launch a distance learning program? I'd wager yes. Distance learning programs are thin in that part of the world, so if CBS jumped into the game it could be a powerful player.

They already do run a Danish-language distance-learning masters.

Indeed. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's run in conjunction with a few other universities, including Aarhus, which provides the learning platform.

I'm thinking though - If CBS were to develop its own platform, they could buff out their Danish language MSc and also provide more robust online MBA programs, leveraging their accreditation and international reputation.
