Choosing the right MBA program

Dr_Pearl

Hello,
I need help choosing my DL MBA program as am a bit lost.
I am a pharmacy graduate who worked as university instructor for 10 years then changed career to conferences and exhibitions 4 years ago. Most my experience and knowledge was scientific, so I decided to take the MBA to;
1- Get enough business knowledge in order to climb the events career ( sales, marketing, technology, leadership...etc)
2- Strengthen my CV specially that I started a new career not long ago , I am now 39 yo ( middle junior manager)
3- The events sector is suffering now due to COVID so I need to broaden my chances ( working in sales and marketing in Pharma or medical company)
3- Am from Egypt and the only good MBA here is the AUC which is over my budget plus I am a mom and can’t commit to a full time program
4- I might relocate to Dubai in a year, and on longer term maybe UK.
I searched a lot but am a bit lost. Honestly this forum gave me a lot of threads of unis to put on my choice list ( my budget is around 15k )
Below are my shortlisted unis;
1- Bradford
2- MMU
3- Edinburgh business school (provider in Dubai)
4- Nottingham
5- Durham ( slightly out of budget not sure if worth it in my case)
6- Illinois ( I prefer blended program as I can fly for one or 2 modules to take the beat out of 2 worlds)
My questions are: considering my situation, what level of program should I aim for? Will the DL be of benefit? Did I miss other good programs around the same budget?
TIA

I would exclude EBS, because Heriot Watt lacks any meaningful international accreditation.

Who is the audience for your CV? Which school has the best network in your target industry, in your target regions?

You wont find your career strategy in LinkedIn, but you will be able to see which schools have the most MBA alumni in your target industry in, for example, Dubai.

I think Strathclyde also has a campus in the UAE, so perhaps that is another option to consider. Alliance Manchester Business School is a strong player there.

Hi again! So after I checked different options considering my budget;
-Bradford is the nearest to my budget and the fact they have face to face options for electives in Dubai or UK is an added value, however their penetration in the Middle East is a bit poor.
- Strathclyde no online option
- Alliance Manchester is out of my budget.
i am waiting for Bradford reply ( they also have reduced fees for some countries).
If there is another school around the same budget and good value for money plz share
