Affordable online MBA from US school

OlegGRY

I am interested in doing an online MBA from a US school so that I can build my management skills and have an American school on my CV, which looks really good in my country. But I must do this on a budget. I have selected the following schools:

University of Houston - Victoria
Jacksonville State University (JSU)
The University of Montana
Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi
University of Central Arkansas
The University of Mississippi
New Mexico State University (NMSU)
University of South Dakota - Beacom School of Business

Does anybody have experience with these online MBA programs that they would like to share? I will apply soon and make my decision shortly afterward. I appreciate any advice.

Hello -- I would also suggest Lehigh University MBA. It is an online program and it is very affordable for a top 12 program.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but the online MBA program from Nebraska-Lincoln is around $25k, and that program is ranked in the FT.

Also: do you need a US degree, specifically? If a UK degree would do, there are some decent values there: Bradford's online program is currently 14,500 GBP.

Yes, perhaps a UK degree would be acceptable. Do you have any ideas about the degrees in the UK which are maybe more affordable than Bradford?

I would not recommend a course that did not have international accreditation. Those cheap schools are cheap for a reason.

The Bradford program is 14500 GBP, that's a great value for a ranked online program.

That said, the online MBAs from Leicester is a bit less, but I don't think the cost savings is worth it, personally. I would suggest the Royal Holloway program, but it sounds like they're cancelling it.

Hi maury,

What do you think of the online MBA at Robert Gordon University Aberdeen?

It's a fine program, but I think that paying the additional cost for the Bradford program, since it is ranked, is probably worth it. The difference is not so much.

That program is not accredited by AMBA, EQUIS, or AACSB and that would be a deal breaker for me.
