who?
- late 30s with B.Eng (Mech)
- >10 years working experience in energy with operations/prog management
- seeking career growth
- living/working in ASEAN

why 100% online ?
- unable to commit campus time due to work and family
- 100% online for flexibility
-preferably more on content structure as i dont have finance background.

my findings on 100% online.
initially was looking at UK b-schools (triple accredition only), but upon researching, open up to US b-schools as well. hence include iMBA

- really liked warwick but theirs is blended. requires 2weeks campus time
- GIES (unranked due to being relatively new. but highly touted in forum)
-Vlerick (relatively new)
- bradford (FT top 10)
-birmingham
-durham (FT top 10)

i understand warwick is the clear leader, but the campus time is a deal breaker for me. aside of warwick,
any 100% online MBA that i missed out?

how would you compare UK vs US b-school? the former has triple crown for accredition, but the US only has the AACSB

They all support career growth. If you don't have specific goals, in terms of changing role, country or industry then just pick the curriculum and pedagogy that fits your needs. A US MBA will have more learning and teaching. A UK one will be less extensive. Some will have more group work. Also consider if you want a integrated general MBA, like Illinois, or one with electives or a thesis. I think Illinois is a good default recommendation.

i kinda leaning towards Durham, coz it is the highest ranked out of the 3 x UK shortlisted.
also for the iMBA, does it have the "i" in their MBA cert? it looks kinda weird . maybe just me.

There is so much comment on these degrees in posts on this board, I really have nothing to add.

is there any reason why this is so? would this be of any concern whether its a creates a degree mill perception?

It's an online MBA from a school whose only MBA is now online, which which added $100m to its endowment on the basis of doing exactly that. It can't be a diploma mill: AACSB accredition, delivered with Coursera, from world class university, in the US 'Big Ten' since the 1800s.

i kinda narrowed it down to Durham Vs Gies.

All the indicators (the same staff as on-campus mba, university reputation and quality, business school accreditation, etc) point to the BU being a very good MBA, definitely worth considering

since both, Gies and Questrom are relatively new, similar price point.
Gies has 72 credit hours(pls correct me if i wrong?) vs Questrom 45.
if have to decide both of them, what else should i be looking out for?

on the topic of alumni.. should we be looking at alumni at the University or its B-school itself?
i was filtering on LinkedIn, and the results are alot difference using the university name vs b-school of the university. ie. the Uni has a big overall alumi, (with its b-school alumni smaller percentage) Vs another Uni with a smaller overall alumni (with its b-school alumni higher percentage)or, it doesnt matter? since the name of the university is the one that employers look at?
