Will I Get In To the University of Windsor

I screwed up my first 2 years of school and was on academic probation and failed 2 classes. Since then I have changed programs and studied Business as my undergrad and received 75-77 averages in the following 3 years of my degree. I have an overall average of a 71%, and my last 20 classes average is 76%. I have yet to write my GMAT as I am hoping to get a conditional acceptance and write my GMAT in early July to start my MBA that September. Are grades high enough to get into University of Windsor? This is where I did my undergrad and I really hope to do my MBA there as well. Thoughts? Also, how long does it take to recieve an admission descision? I just applied today.

This depends on where you study. In France or the UK, those would be high marks. In India, they would be low....

@Duncan - the Canadian percentage system is similar to the US system, but it is lower by 10 points for each grade. So an average of 71 would be an equivalent of a B- average (in the UK that would be something like a 2:2). A lot of Canadian universities have a minimum requirement of 75 for MBA admissions, but that would be for the last year or 2 of their undergraduate degree.

@Mmxx - Your 76% average meets the cutoff of many schools in Canada. I think it's better if you email your school directly if they allow GMAT waivers. Only thing I suggest is perhaps to work 1-2 years before doing your MBA (will work wonders for your post-MBA job search) or definitely do a co-op (if that is available).
