Hi
I have come across a part time MBA through Chifley Business School Australia. Classes are conducted here in the UAE once a week and the entire program is a duration of 12 months.
There is no dissertation at the end of the course- can one get an MBA without doing a dissertation??
There is also no GMAT test before the course - does every MBA course-even the specialised ones- need a GMAT exam before entry?
The course seems to be accredited through GMAA and TEQSA in Australia.
The subjects covered over the 12 months are:
Financial Management
Management Perspectives
Economic Decision Making
Business Law
Strategic Management
Contemporary People Management
Project Management
Operations Management
Marketing
Managing Information Systems
Economic Decision Making
International Business Strategy
Each module is 4 weeks duration with an exam in the 5th week.

Thanks
Also- need info on the other 2 questions please:
1. Is a GMAT/aptitude test compulsory for admission to an MBA? Can an MBA be done without one- or must we consider the institution that offers the course without a GMAT test, to be avoided?
2. Do all correct/valid/accredited MBA programmes require a dissertation to be completed?
Thanks
