The Business School

Hult International Business School – formerly the Arthur D.Little School of Management – was formed in 1964 and provides business education to students from all over the world.
The school has earned top rankings, including the 16th best in the U.S. and the 31st best in the world by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Hult is also ranked among the Top 100 best business schools worldwide by the Financial Times, and 6th in international mobility. This places Hult in the top 1% of all business schools worldwide.

The Program

Hult offers fully accredited one-year MBA programs in Boston, Dubai and London (newly acquired) with identical core curriculums, covering traditional management subjects such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing Management, Global Management, Managerial Economics, Quantitative Methods, Operations Management, Consulting Methods and Project Management.

Additionally, students participate in an Action Learning Project, working closely with a local major company to carry out a real-world innovation and growth project within a company. Five teams composed of five students compete against each other to identify the best innovation and growth option for the company. To date, senior mentors from Arthur D Little, the Monitor Group and Hult have guided these student teams to develop business growth options using a novel proprietary approach developed by the Center for Innovation, Excellence and Leadership (IXL Center). Senior executives from these companies work closely to guide the student teams and determine the best options for them and often make investment plans around the winners.
To build upon the action-based curriculum, Hult hosts speaker series, Lessons from the Leaders Innovation Speaker Series, seminars and networking activities to provide students with the opportunity to develop knowledge about local culture and business practices.

Entry Requirements

Hult International Business School seeks students with proven leadership ability and potential. Successful applicants generally:

• Have at least three years of professional work experience
• Are 25 years or older
• Possess a Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• Have leadership potential

Successful applicants generally have management experience and several years of work experience. Indeed, the intense pace of the program requires maturity and Hult case study method is based on sharing professional experiences with classmates. The goal of Hult admissions committee is to put together a diverse class that learns together and from each other.

Application Procedure

To study an MBA and apply to Hult's program, students need to complete and submit the following (all available when you download the application form from this website):

• Application form
• Statement of purpose
• Current resume
• Two letters of recommendation
• Official transcripts for all universities and colleges attended
• GMAT score
• Application fee of USD 150 or foreign currency equivalent

In order to study in the MBA program, Non-U.S. citizens must also provide:

• TOEFL score or IELTS score. TOEFL should be taken within one year of the program start.
• Translations of official transcripts (if appropriate)

Financial Aid

An MBA is a significant investment; however, Hult makes it easy for its students to afford the MBA. Not only is Hult program one of the most cost-effective relative to other MBA programs, it is condensed into one year, which minimizes opportunity costs. At Hult they work to find the most beneficial funding options. These options include MBA scholarships, fellowships and education loans.

Location

Accommodation

Student Services in Boston is available to assist students with their housing search. From providing temporary accommodation advice to putting them in touch with realtors, they are on-hand to support students with their needs.

The university’s Hall of Residence at Byng Place in London is a five minute walk from the campus. The residence offers a television room, wireless internet access throughout and laundry facilities. All rooms are equipped with fridges and microwaves. The building is managed and supervised by the Residence Life Director, and supported by Residence Life Staff. Security guards are at service during evenings and weekends. Access to the residence is via electronic card system.

Comfortable student accomodation in Dubai is approximately a 35-minute shuttle ride from our campus, 5 minutes from Green Community and close to the city's large malls, hospitals and the Dubai Marina. Students will also have access to two outdoor pools and to the residence's indoor gym.

Hult's Shanghai study abroad campus is available during the first elective module (6 to 8 weeks). Residential accomodations are a short commute away.

Student Life

Each incoming class at Hult is like a mini United Nations, with students from more than 60 different nationalities, a bright group of university students who hail from over 60 countries from North America, Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Great Britain. Our small school is a microcosm of the international community at large.
