The Faculty

93 permanent professors, among them 26 are non French, 36 visiting professors, 30 part-time lecturers, 20 assistants or PhD students, and more than 400 visiting experts structure the learning process of participants in first-degree programs or in executive education.

Creating new knowledge, developing new educational methods, transforming knowledge into classroom innovation and teachable content, disseminating the new knowledge in the form of academic or professionals publications and of face-to-face or distance learning courses, such are the missions of the faculty devoted to lifelong learning for entrepreneurial and international management.

Entry Requirements

- University Degree
- Min 3 years work experience
- Fluency in at least 2 languages (french is not necessary)
- GMAT Score (Average score 600)
- English proficiency score

Application Procedure

Selecting the right participant is about more than just test scores. At EMLYON Business School we take an applicant's entire potential into account. Elements like motivation to pursue an MBA, your background and professional project weigh just as heavily in our selection procedure.

To apply for the International MBA program, you will need to provide the International Student Recruitment Office with:
A duly completed application booklet, acompanied by:
- a GMAT score
- an English Proficiency Score
- a recommendation letter duly signed by a referee
- a copy of your passport / identity card
- a copy of your most recent academic accomplishment
- 2 passport size photos
- 110 Euros non-refundable application fee

Upon receipt of your application booklet, it will be submited to the Reading Committee, composed of two senior members of our faculty, for an initial evaluation. They will decide whether or not to invite you for an interview.

The second step of the application procedure is the interview, which can either take place on campus on the scheduled selection days, or via phone if the candidate cannot make it to France in person.

Both evaluations will be submitted to the Admissions Board, who will review the applicant’s file as well as both evaluations, and make a final decision on whether or not to accept the applicant in the program.

Summer Program

Our Summer Session takes place in Europe (EMLYON Business School, campus Lyon, France); it focuses on the European Business Environment, global entrepreneurship and also offers a choice of specific highly specialized courses. It gives you the opportunity to discuss these issues with other French, European and International participants.
