where to study??

where to study??
i'm thinking about studying MBA in AUS and, like others, i surf many ranking webpages that provide different info.Thu Oct 18, 2007 07:11 PM the thing is i just graduated from university so i dont have any working experience. that really limits my choices. i thinking about these 3 universities: University of Technology, Sydney LaTrobe University RMIT i'll be grateful if there's a help someone who is knowledgeable about this. thank you. |

Yep, LaTrobe probably is your best bet. But don't they require a minimum of two years' work experience? You might also want to rethink doing an MBA without any experience, anyway. If you use the search function to find those threads that relate to doing an MBA straight out of university, you'll find more than a couple of people (well-respected contributors to this board, I might add), who take the the view that unless you've done your time in business, an MBA really won't be that useful to you. Also, how valuable will an MBA from a school that doesn't require applicants to have experience be?

Well, as an analogy - do you think you can learn car racing, without learning first how to drive? i think you should reconsider taking an MBA before gaining some work experience - would be better for you, and for you're fellow students.Mon Nov 03, 2008 11:46 AM David |

Hi,Fri Mar 20, 2009 06:01 PM I am Amit Patil Graduated with a 1st class Electronics Engineering degree from Mumbai university, India. SSC & HSC with a distinction. 2yeras of IT experience. I am thinkking of applying to LaTrobe university. But no where on its website I found anything about it being accredited, can you please help me? Also how good is the dual course i.e. MS in IT & MBA? Please reply |
