Hi, does anyone know on average doing an Executive MBA, how long someone would be out of the office studying at lectures during the working week over the course of a year?

It depends widely depending on the program. Which are you looking at in particular?

Most EMBA programs hold classes after normal working hours, or on weekends. They usually try to minimize the impact on your employment, because they know most people enrolled in EMBAs are usually working full time.

Thanks Ralph- that is what I thought - I have been looking at (in the UK) for example Lancaster and Henley College and they both seem to have EMBA modules being run on weekdays. I know of others that do the same and wasn't sure if this was the norm?

This is the norm. how would an executive be able to learn otherwise? - this is not like a normal MBA program - EMBA is made for busy people, and i think you will find most programs work like this.
