Options for Indian IT guy

I was wondering if anybody could offer me advice. I've been working in the IT field in the US for about 6 years now and am about to apply to MBA programs.

Of course, my first choices are Harvard/Stanford/Wharton, and I will apply to these programs, but I was wondering what other schools I should consider. Maybe schools that are less competitive for people with my profile (Indian IT guy.)

Any recommendations would be great.

When picking an MBA I think where you want to go is more important than where you've been. (Whereas, clearly the admissions people will want to know where you've been).

All of those schools you mentioned are in the top 5. If - for whatever reason - you're thinking you aren't going to get into these schools you can look anywhere in the top 25 or 30 in America and you'll probably be giving your career a big boost.

Any geographical preferences?

Thanks for the tip. I don't have a specific geographic preference, maybe the NYC area because I have family there. But I wouldn't say that's my defining factor. What about Georgia Tech or Austin? I think cost of living would possibly be less, which is important.
