You probably haven't seen it in the rankings because it's a brand new program. I don't think the first classes actually start until next month.

I understand it's aimed at those with little to no work experience. But it's a pretty competitive program - and LBS is a great school.

Agree with Ralph. The reason why the program doesnt surface in the FT ranking is because FT doesnt rank any MSc Program which is less than 4 yrs old. Its a policy of FT. It is because of this reason why you dont see MSc programs of some prestigious schools like LBS, Warwick, Cranfield, Henley etc on the current FT-MSc ranking.

As Ralph said, LBS is a super elite school..given you have good finances available do consider their MSc Program. 2009 is perhaps its first batch and believe me gaining admission wont be a piece of cake in LBS.

Goodluck

I was thinking the same, just wanted to double ceck. In your opinion what is the minimum gmat score required to enter in LBS? and could you please tell me a short ranking of the best master of science in management/finance available in UK?
My ranking would be
1 LBS
2 LSE
3 Cranfield
4 Warwick
5 City university (Caas )

MSc Management:
LSE>LBS>Warwick>Cass
MSc Finance:
LBS>LSE>Warwick>Cass>Cranfield.

All the 5 B Schools are the elite B Schools of the UK.
Good luck

If you are talking about the MSc Management at LBS, the avg GMAT score is 687 in the current batch and the lowest score being 600...MSc Management at LBS is designed only for people who have less than 1 yr of work ex so dont bother about work ex...I feel that you have a pretty good chance of making it if you are able to satisfactorily answer the essay based questions in the online application form of LBS...this is the most critical part of application.

If you are talking about the MSc Finance at LBS or Sloan-MSc, you are not eligible since you have zero years of experience.

Thanks,
I am talking about the MSc in management. I will try to do my best in answering the essays (even if this is one of my weak points...)
I am also considering to apply for other schools in uk ( Cass, warwick, LSE) as well as in Europe (HEC, IE, Essec, Grenoble)
My goal is to work as consultant.
I would really appreciate if you could help me to rank those schools and tell me if I can already eliminate some of them because my profile is too weak.
thanks

p.s.
also some suggestion on the essays would be really appreciated.

Marco
