Hi,Sun Jun 28, 2009 08:19 AM I am having 2+ yrs of IT experience, 1st class in Be Electronics from Mumbai university & distinction in 10th & 12th class. Also an 7.5 in IELTS. I have secured admission for MBA course at University of Aberdeen as well as Northampton(alogwith the Northampton scholarship). Can you please suggest me which one is a better course. MBA at University of Aberdeen vs Northampton
Do you mean University of Aberdeen or Aberdeen business School (Robert Gordon Uni)? If it is Aberdeen Uni then it is definitely the better choice academically, but if Robert Gordon, then not as good. Tue Jun 30, 2009 01:15 PM Northampton is a very new university, not long ago a college of further education. Not exactly renowned for its business department, but there has been a lot of investment across a range of areas. Neither have an MBA brand to speak of outside the UK, but Aberdeen has a definite advantage nationally. Also you might find jobs better in Scotland at the moment. If Northampton have made you a very cheap offer then it could be the safe bet for you, in case you are unable to find a job afterwards. |
